A someone who has a ton of half written pieces in Word sitting around, some of them for years, I understand how this can happen and you did the only thing you can do when it does. You admitted the mistake and led me to the source. Rob's review is great, and matches my sentiments about the book more than it matched yours. My only pushback to his review is that I do think that Legend is Grimdark. It is what Grimdark was at the time it was written. There is a lot of sadness and death in it, but there is hope too. Older Grimdark has that hope, the newer does not and in some ways it's worse for it.

It speaks to the measure of how decent a person Scott is that he has chosen to apologise in as public a manner as this, for what is clearly an honest mistake. I have absolutely no ill will as to what has happened and sincerely hope that Scott can move on without any repercussions from anyone. Scott is a brilliant writer and better person and that's all I care about.

Thank you, good sir! I've already put a different system into place -- creating a reference document, still, but my own words must go into a clean document, rather than scattering my thoughts among my sources. Hopefully, this will never happen again.

Again, apologies and my thanks for your kind words.

If you need my forgiveness, you have it. Thank you for admitting the error, and being forthright about it.
